Every Day With God

Every Day with God                                             March 13, 2022

The scriptures below are only a few among many that clearly indicate what God does for us every day of our lives.  He does it because He loves us and because He is faithful towards us.  He is proud to be our heavenly Father and to have us as His children

  • No matter how many times in a day I murmur and complain about my troubles and fears God will hear my voice and redeem me (Psalms 55:17-18)
  • Every night God gives to His beloved while they sleep (Psalms 127:2)
  • Every morning God is a strength to His people who, in faith, wait on Him in times of distress (Isaiah 33:2)
  • Every morning God’s compassions never fail.  His lovingkindnesses never cease and His faithfulness to His people is great (Lamentations 3:23-24)
  • Every morning God brings His justice to light; He does not fail (Zephaniah 3:5)
  • Every day God forgives all of our sins when we try to be like His Son (I John 1:5-7)
  • Every day we can be confident that God not only hears our prayers but will grant our requests if it’s according to His will (I John 5:13-15)

It is clear from the scriptures below that our forefathers in the faith walked daily with their God.  Like them we should walk with God every day and be so proud to be His children.  Our love for Him should be evident to Him and others every day of our lives.

  • A man is blessed when his delight is in God’s word and when he meditates on it day and night (Psalms 1:2; Psalms 119:97)
  • In the morning God will hear my prayer and then I’ll eagerly watch for the results.  Why?  Because God takes pleasure in those who practice what is right (Psalms 5:3-4)
  • In God we have boasted all day long (Psalms 44:8)
  • Any day with God is better than any day with the world (Psalms 84:10)
  • From day to day proclaim good tidings of His salvation.  Sing to Him and bless His name (Psalms 96:2)
  • Because of Thy righteous ordinances I praise Thee seven times a day (Psalms 119:164)
  • Every day I will bless Thee and praise Thy name forever and ever (Psalms 145:2)
  • Every day the early church was praising God for the hope of their salvation (Acts 2:46-47)
  • Every day we should walk with God and not walk like the world who does not know Him.  Why?  Because Jesus is returning soon and our daily walk has eternal consequences, good or bad.  Therefore, we should earnestly strive to serve our God night and day (Acts 26:6-7; Romans 13:11-14)
  • Every day I should look at the eternal things of God and not be so discouraged by the temporal afflictions and difficulties of my life (II Corinthians 4:16-18)

Like our forefathers of faith, may we resolve to walk every day with God!!
